On October 28, 2023, Professor Yijia Jing, the Dean of the Institute for Global Public Policy, and Professor El-Mikawy, the Dean of the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo, signed a cooperation memorandum during the China-Arab Forum on Global Development and Governance. The signing ceremony was witnessed by President Li Jin of Fudan University, Secretary-General Salama of the Association of Arab Universities, Ambassador Farraj Alajmi, the Director of the Education Department of the League of Arab States, and Professor Zhimin Chen, the Vice President of Fudan University. The signing ceremony was presided over by Li’an Lu, Director of the Fudan Office of Global Partnerships.

In the future, the Institute for Global Public Policy will collaborate with the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo in student exchanges, joint courses, and joint research to promote scientific research and talent development in the field of global governance and public policy.
