Jianzhi (Jason) Zhao is an Associate Professor of Economic and Public Policy and deputy director for the Center for Global Governance at the School of International Relations and Public Affairs of Fudan University. His current research interests are public policy, international development, public economics, and development economics. He has worked for multiple international organizations, including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Inter-American Development Bank. Zhao was also a visiting researcher at the Bank of Finland. His research has been invited to present at the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) of the United States government. He has consulted with World Bank, UNIDO, Asian Development Bank, Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the Chinese Social Science Foundation. He has served as Ad Hoc referee for many international journals and published in many leading journals. Zhao was Shorenstein Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University and received his PhD in International Economic Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
