Profile
Stephen P Osborne is Professor of International Public Management and Director of the Centre for Service Excellence at University of Edinburgh Business School, Scotland. He worked in local government for fifteen years as a professional and manager before taking up an academic post in 1990 at the University of Aston.
He is a Chair Professor at Fudan University and holds an Honorary Doctorate and Chair at Corvinus University, Budapest. He has been awarded Prizes for Outstanding Contribution to his Discipline by the International Research Society for Public Management and the Public Management Research Association. He was the Founder and is the Current Editor of Public Management Review, and was the Founder and First President of the International Research Society for Public Management.
