Degree Program
The Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) hosts LSE-Fudan “Global Political Economy” double master’s degree program, LSE-Fudan “Global Social Policy” double master’s degree program, 'Global Public Policy' master's degree program and 'Global Public Policy' doctoral degree program. These programs are offered in English and admit both Chinese and international students. IGPP will develop new MA degree programs in areas such as Global Environmental Policy, Technology and Innovation, International Development, Global Health, and Public Policy and Administration. Leveraging Fudan University's academic and research resources, the programs of IGPP provide students with interdisciplinary training, international perspectives, and practical knowledge and skills.
PhD Program in Global Public Policy
This English-taught PhD program in Global Public Policy aims to cultivate the next generation of scholars and practitioners for local, national, regional and global governance. Rooted in rigorous theoretical and methodological training, the program adopts an interdisciplinary approach that integrates both Chinese and global perspectives to address pressing challenges in public policy. It prepares students for impactful careers in public service, international organizations, think tanks and academia. The program welcomes students from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and around the world.
PhD Program in Global Public Policy and Governance
This English-taught PhD program in Global Public Policy and Governance is designed to develop scholars and professionals with advanced analytical skills and practical expertise in addressing complex governance challenges. Combining rigorous theoretical training with a strong focus on real-world policy practice, the program equips students to lead and contribute to institutional reforms, cross-border cooperation, and public service delivery at local, national and global levels. The program prepares graduates for leadership roles in governance institutions, public agencies and international organizations. It recruits students from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and international backgrounds.
