THE SPEAKER
Kathryn Hochstetler is a Professor of International Development and Head of the Department of International Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She has researched this theme from many angles - global environmental negotiations, regional trade agreements (Mercosur), and through the study of national environmental movements, environment policy, and democratic institutions, primarily in South America.
ABSTRACT
While the G77/China continues as an important participant in negotiations, the countries have developed a number of lines of differentiation since the Copenhagen negotiations on climate change in 2009. This lecture describes those lines of differentiation, as well as considering the causes and consequences of the growing differences.
