The BRICS bloc, comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, represents over 25% of the world’s GDP and 42% of its population. By 2030, these nations are expected to constitute more than half of the global GDP. However, they face unique governance challenges, including sustainable development, digital transformation, financial inclusion, and data privacy. In this context, the public sector plays a crucial role in addressing these issues and driving social and economic progress.

In 2024, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur will host a conference themed ‘Collaboration for Innovation in the BRICS’ Public Sector.’ The event aims to create a platform for knowledge sharing, innovative solutions, and dialogue, focusing on intertwining public administration with sustainable development, digitization, and ethical leadership. Attendees include academics and public and private sector leaders from the BRICS countries. The conference’s ultimate goal is to promote prosperity, inclusivity, and sustainability.

About IIM Raipur

IIM Raipur Indian Institute of Management (IIM) was set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Education, in 2010 at Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest growing states of India with its rich mineral, forest, natural and local resources. IIM Raipur campus is spread over 200 acres of land in Atal Nagar. The campus is a state-of-the-art campus presenting a blissful mix of modern architecture, culture & heritage of Chhattisgarh.

Extended Abstract Guidelines

The extended abstract of about 800-1,000 words should have the title of the paper, and name, position, institution, and contact e-mail of the author(s). For academic research, the extended abstract should include the results, discussions and contributions of your research.

Please adhere to the following format and form of submission for the BRICS International Conference 2024. Submit your abstracts in MS-Word or PDF format, with the name including your last name. Your submission should be typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double-spaced, following APA citation style. Ensure to include within the document the title of your submission, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), contact information, and up to 5 keywords.  Please visit the conference website to upload your papers.
