On November 30, 2023, Mr. Ronnie Chan, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Better Hong Kong Foundation (BHKF), led a delegation to Fudan University. Professor Li Jin, President of Fudan University, warmly received the delegation. They exchanged views on university governance, basic science and artificial intelligence, and internationalization of education.

Mr. Chan then visited the Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP). Professor Yijia Jing, the Dean of IGPP, introduced the development of the Institute, as well as its strategic cooperation with the Secretariat General of the League of Arab States, the Association of Arab Universities, and Arab universities. Mr. Chan shared his extensive experiences in Arab affairs. Both sides engaged in enthusiastic and in-depth discussions on China-Arab cooperation.

The delegation also visited the Hang Lung Physics Building, Fudan University. In May 1997, the renovation of the Physics Building was funded by former Chairman of the Hang Lung Group, Mr. Tseng-Tao Chan and his wife. The building was named  Hang Lung Physics Building.

Attendees from the BHKF included Xiaofeng Zhong (Board Director), Karin Tang (CEO), and Yiping Zhou (Senior Manager). Attendees from Fudan University included Li Liu and Xiaoye Zhang (Director and Deputy Director of the Office of External Relations and Development), Assistant professor Haoqi Qian and Jingyuan Xu, and Rong Zhang (Director of the Office of IGPP).
