President Tippawan Lorsuwannarat of NIDA Visited IGPP

On December 4, 2023, President Tippawan Lorsuwannarat from Thailand’s National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) visited the Institute for Global Public Policy, Fudan University. The delegation was warmly received by Yijia Jing, the Dean of the Institute for Global Public Policy and other faculty members. Both parties engaged in discussions regarding their recent developments and their collaborations in teaching and research.

Professor Yijia Jing delivered a welcome speech. He emphasized that since the establishment of the collaboration between the Institute for Global Public Policy and NIDA’s Graduate School of Public Administration in 2019, there has been continuous communication and exchange between the two institutions. President Tippawan Lorsuwannarat introduced the history, overall structure, and current developmental frontiers of NIDA. She expressed the hope to deepen communication, foster trust, and engage in collaboration with Fudan University across multiple disciplines.

Jaray Singhakowinta, Dean of the NIDA's School of Social Development and Strategic Management, Tatchawan Kanitpong, Dean of the School of Business, Amornrat Kulsudjarit, Dean of the School of Law, Pornpun Prajaknate, Associate Dean of the School of Communication Arts and Innovation Management, and Achakorn Wongpreedee, Associate Dean of the School of Public Administration, introduced their respective schools.

Other attendees from NIDA included Asawin Nedpogaeo, Assistant to President of the NIDA, Renliang Li, Associate Dean of the School of Social Development and Strategic Management, Kanogporn Narktabtee, Associate Dean of the School of Business, Kasemsarn Chotchakornpant, Director of the MPA Program of the School of Public Administration, Prapin Nuchpiam, Associate Dean of the School of Law. Attendees from Fudan Institute for Global Public Policy included Professor Dan Guttman, Assistant Professor Jingyuan Xu, Assistant Professor Ziteng Fan, and Office Director Rong Zhang. Associate Professor Jinzhou Song from East China Normal University also attended.
