The Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) announced the approved projects of Innovative Talent Cultivation via International Cooperation in 2024. The Training Program for Excellent Global Governance Talents in China, Arab and BRICS Countries, an application submitted by Fudan Institute for Global Public Policy, was approved.
The Training Program for Excellent Global Governance Talents in China, Arab and BRICS Countries aims to promote joint training between Chinese and foreign institutions, facilitate Fudan's outstanding students to pursue further studies in Arab and BRICS countries, and cultivate global governance talents with a deep understanding of the relevant countries and regions. The program will rely on the institute's English-taught Master's and Ph.D. programs in Global Public Policy and select a certain number of Master's and Ph.D. students each year to be jointly trained at partner institutions. The initial list of partner institutions includes the American University in Cairo, the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies in Qatar, the Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil, and the Higher School of Economics in Russia.
