On October 30, 2023, Executive Vice Rector Åse Gornitzka and Vice Rector Mette Hansen from the University of Oslo visited the Institute for Global Public Policy, Fudan University. They were warmly received by Professor Yijia Jing, the Dean of the Institute, who introduced them to the development and international cooperation of the Institute. Discussions were held regarding future collaboration in academic exchange and talent development.

During their stay at Fudan University, Professor Åse Gornitzka and Professor Mette Hansen participated in various activities of the Shanghai Forum. In the section of the Shanghai Forum on Global Development and Governance hosted by Professor Yijia Jing, Professor Åse Gornitzka delivered a keynote speech on the topic of Coordinating Policies for Knowledge Europe: Drivers and Challenges of Science Governance beyond the National Level.
