On November 6, 2023, Professor Susana Mourato, Vice President of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), led a delegation to visit the Institute for Global Public Policy and the LSE-Fudan Research Centre for Global Public Policy, Fudan University. They had meetings and discussions with faculty and students. The welcoming ceremony was hosted by Professor Jing Yijia, Dean of the Institute for Global Public Policy.

At the start, Professor Jing introduced the development history of the LSE-Fudan Centre, with particular emphasis on the new achievements made in 2023. He expressed gratitude for the support provided by LSE in advancing the development of the LSE-Fudan Centre. Professor Mourato expressed sincere delight at the progress of the various initiatives of the LSE-Fudan Centre. She expressed expectations for further cooperation in academic research between the two sides and the exchange of faculty and students from both institutions.

Faculty and students from the Institute for Global Public Policy, students from the LSE-Fudan Double Master’s Degree Program, exchange students from the LSE Year Abroad Program, students from the Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Program on Global Public Policy and Governance, and some international visiting scholars attended the activity and engaged in communication with Professor Mourato.
