On May 6, 2025, President Li Jin of Fudan University led a delegation to visit Queen’s University in Canada. During the visit, the Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) at Fudan University and the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen’s University held a letter of intent (LOI) signing ceremony. The ceremony was jointly witnessed by President Jin and President Patrick Deane of Queen’s University.

According to the LOI, both parties will build on their long-standing collaboration to further advance talent cultivation, academic research, and innovation in the field of global public policy. They will fully leverage interdisciplinary strengths from both institutions to promote global leadership development and foster China–Canada dialogue on global governance.
