On April 11, 2024, the Fudan Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) and the São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) in Brazil held a ceremony for exchanging the cooperation agreement. Mr. Augusto Pestana, the Consul General of Brazil in Shanghai, Professor Yijia Jing, the Dean of the IGPP, Professor Jose A. Puppim de Oliveira from FGV University, Professor Evan Berman, and faculty and students of the IGPP attended the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Jingyuan Xu, assistant professor of the IGPP.

Professor Jing emphasized the significance of the collaboration between the IGPP and FGV in Brazil in promoting cooperation between the two countries and universities. Professor Puppim de Oliveira highlighted the noteworthy achievements of developing countries in global governance, emphasizing the importance of mutual learning and growth through exchanges and interactions. Following that, Mr. Augusto Pestana delivered a speech, acknowledging the diverse development of China-Brazil cooperation and expressing expectations for continuous practical collaboration in the field of higher education between the two sides.

During the exchange of the cooperation agreement, Professor Jing and Professor Puppim de Oliveira exchanged the agreement. In the future, the IGPP will collaborate with FGV EAESP on student exchanges, joint courses, collaborative research, and other areas to promote scientific research and talent development in the field of global governance and public policy.
