On March 28, 2024, the Fudan Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) organized a research symposium for young scholars in Public Administration. Professor Yijia Jing, the Dean of the IGPP, Evan Berman, a Fudan Chair Professor and a professor of the Getulio Vargas Foundation University in Brazil, as well as young faculty members from the IGPP, the School of Internaltional Relations & Public Affaris, and the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, attended the event.

Professor Berman is an internationally renowned professor in the fields of public performance and management, comparative public administration, and public human resource management. He first acknowledged the academic contributions of young scholars in the field of public management and expressed his willingness to assist them in publishing articles in top-tier journals in public management. He then provided valuable advice based on his own research experience for the research topics of the young scholars, and praised their spirit of research innovation.
