On June 4, 2025, a delegation from the College of Local Administration (COLA) at Khon Kaen University, Thailand—led by Dean Dr. Sirisak Laochankham, Associate Dean Dr. Grichawat Lowatcharin, and Associate Dean Dr. Narongdet Mahasirikul—visited the Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) at Fudan University for a working meeting. The meeting was attended by Assistant Dean Haoqi Qian of IGPP and Administrative Office Director Rong Zhang.
During the meeting, Assistant Dean Qian extended a warm welcome on behalf of IGPP to the delegation from COLA. Both sides then introduced their approaches to talent cultivation, academic research, and international collaboration. The discussion also explored potential areas for future cooperation.
Khon Kaen University is the first and oldest public university in northeastern Thailand and is recognized as one of the country’s leading institutions. Established in 2007, the COLA is dedicated to educating and training local government personnel, including political leaders and administrative staff. It offers degree programs (BPA, MPA, and DPA) and non-degree training programs, with the mission of cultivating future leaders in public service.
