On September 17, 2021, the Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) of Fudan University held a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration in Room 805 of the West Sub-building of Guanghua Towers. More than 20 teachers and students attended the event on-site or online, sharing the joy of the Chinese traditional festival.
The event started with the show of a video about the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Then, Man Xu, the host of the event, vividly introduced various kinds of moon cakes to students and answered their questions. Foreign students showed great curiosity and interest in moon cakes. Both Jianzi He, the student counselor, and Meijun Liu, the Deputy Director of the Global Social Policy Program, spoke at the event to express holiday greetings to the students. Afterwards, teachers and students had a free and face-to-face conversation.The event ended in a pleasant atmosphere.
