On April 27, 2024, IGPP organized a visit for its students to Shanghai Museum East. A total of 35 Chinese and international students, along with a visiting scholar at IGPP, participated in this event.

The group of faculty and students from IGPP focused their visit on the “Stars over China: The Ancient Shu Civilization of Sanxingdui and Jinsha” special exhibition. During the two-hour tour, everyone was deeply impressed by the mysterious and exquisite bronze artifacts on display, gaining a deeper appreciation for the profound heritage and unique charm of Chinese civilization. After the visit, everyone had lunch together by the Suzhou River. 

As a regular spring student activity, this museum tour not only enhanced the interaction between faculty and students but also deepened the students’ understanding of Chinese history and culture.
