On May 14,2024,the Fudan Institute for Global Public Policy held a seminar to celebrate Fudan University's 119th anniversary. Professor Yijia Jing, the Dean of the IGPP, Professor Iain Begg from the European Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Professor Martin de Jong from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Professor Mark D. Robbins from the University of Connecticut, as well as faculty and students from the IGPP attended the conference.
Five scholars shared their research. Professor Iain Begg delivered a presentation titled European Parliament election and ramifications for EU governance. Assistant Professor Ziteng Fan presented a paper titled Understanding Interlocal Collaboration for Service Delivery for Migrant Workers in China. Assistant Professor Meijun Liu gave a presentation titled The mobility of scientific and technological talents between China and countries along the Belt and Road. Assistant Professor Haoqi Qian presented a paper titled Does climate finance bring SDG co-benefits? Evidence from African countries. Lastly, Assistant Professor Jingyuan Xu delivered a presentation titled Promoting Accountability through Transparency Institutional Development for Sustainability.
