Introduction to the Forum
Young Scholars are the future of academic research. Fudan-Guanghua International Forum for Young Scholars aims to create communication platforms for global young talented scholars of various research fields to discuss cutting-edge research spotlights, to resolve frontier academic problems and to enhance cooperation among distinct disciplines. The Forum also offers young scholars a taste of research environment and a package of know-how for research in China, specifically at Fudan University. It would eventually foster the “Extraordinary 2025” Elite Project and “Super Postdoctoral” Proposals to help attract from world-wide young researchers to work at Fudan University.
Sub-Forum of Global Public Policy and Governance hosted by the Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) will be held on December 28, 2021.

The forum will be a hybrid eventand participants should indicate whether they will be attending in person or virtually when confirming the invitation. Covid-19 control and prevention requirements of Fudan University will be sent to in-person attendees prior to the forum.
The forum includes two sessions, Faculties and Super Postdoctoral Proposals.
Qualifications
Session I: Faculties
Ph.D.
A solid publication record and visible academic achievements or demonstrating great academic potentials
Research areas include:
Public health, global health
International development, international organization
Public administration and policy theory
Chinese/comparative public administration
Social policy and nonprofit organization management
Innovation and technology policy, big data and information management
Urban governance
Session II: Super Postdoctoral Proposals
Ph.D. candidates or recent graduates with no longer than three years since receiving their Ph.D.
Outstanding research performance
Research areas include:
Public health, global health
International development, international organization
Public administration and policy theory
Chinese/comparative public administration
Social policy and nonprofit organization management
Innovation and technology policy, big data and information management
Urban governance

Invitation Letter
Successful applicants will receive an invitation letter within five workdays after the application is closed.
Fees
Fudan University will cover in-person attendees’ travel and accommodation expenses for the forum.
