Global Public Policy and Governance (GPPG) Becomes a Q2 Journal in CiteScore 2022

On 8 June 2023, Elsevier's CiteScore™ (citation score) 2022 was released. The first CiteScore for Global Public Policy and Governance (GPPG), an English-language journal hosted by Fudan University’s Institute for Global Public Policy, is 1.4. This score puts GPPG in the Q2 level among 652 political science and international relations journals, ranking 270th and in the top 42% of this subject.

CiteScore is based on the Scopus database, providing an up-to-date assessment of the impact of more than 28,100 active publications in the Scopus database, including peer-reviewed journals, book series, conference papers and trade publications. CiteScore can be used to help measure the citation impact of journal articles.

GPPG was officially launched in the spring of 2021 and has successfully published nine issues with highly international and diverse contributions on a broad range of topics including emerging technology governance, environmental and climate governance, migration governance, public service, administrative reform, etc. GPPG was included in the Scopus database in 2022, and was also listed in Chinese Social Science Journal AMI Comprehensive Evaluation Periodical Library (中国人文社会科学期刊AMI 综合评价期刊库).
