Fudan-LSE Double Degree Program Was Selected into International Organization Reserve Talents Training Projects

In November 2021, China Scholarship Council announced the list of programs funded by the International Organization Reserve Talents Training Projects. Fudan-LSE Double Master’s Degree Program (hereafter Program) has been successfully approved. The Program is implemented by Institute for Global Public Policy under the supervision of the Fudan Graduate School. The Program aims to provide students with multi-disciplinary knowledge of global governance and train them to acquire practical skills in working in international organizations.

Students from four Fudan-LSE double-degree programs including Global Political Economy, Global Social Policy, Global Media and Communications, and Financial Statistics and Chinese Economy can apply for the scholarship. Students selected into the Program will do first-year study at LSE in London and do second-year study at Fudan University in Shanghai, and they are required to go to international organizations to attend internships during their studying period or within two years after graduation.

The Program was approved in 2019 as one of the first International Organization Reserve Talents Training Projects. During the past three years, 28 students got the offer and 5 of them had already finished internships in international organizations including specialized agencies of the United Nations. Students also obtained outstanding academic achievements such as publishing papers in academic journals as well as being awarded the Best Overall Performance at LSE. In the next implementation period of the Program (2022-2024), Fudan will work closely with LSE to further improve the overall quality of the Program.
