On November 24, 2024, the Academic Seminar on Writing Master’s Theses for the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program, organized by the Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP) of Fudan, was successfully held in Room 805E, West Sub-building of Guanghua Towers. Yijia Jing, Dean of IGPP, attended and delivered a speech. Attendees also included three practical mentors and MPA students.
Dean Jing stated that the purpose of the seminar was to enhance students' academic and practical abilities, as well as to improve the educational quality and training effectiveness of the MPA program. He welcomed and introduced the three practical mentors, who have extensive experience in the public sector and enterprises.
During the thesis presentation session, MPA students presented their theses on a wide range of topics. The practical mentors provided comprehensive feedback, acknowledging the strengths of the students' papers while identifying areas for improvement. The mentors emphasized the importance of closely aligning the theses with the students' professional work, aiming to bridge theoretical research with practical application. These constructive comments offered clear guidance for the students' subsequent revisions and improvements. The students expressed that the seminar was beneficial and inspiring, providing valuable insights for refining their work.
