From November 2nd to 6th, 2024, Professor Timothy Hildebrandt from the Department of Social Policy at the London School of Economics visited the Global Institute for Public Policy (IGPP). During his visit, Professor Hildebrandt met with students from LSE-Fudan Double Master’s Degree Program in Global Social Policy, getting to know their study and life conditions at Fudan. Drawing from his own experience working in Shanghai, he offered advice to the students on living and studying in China, and shared the latest developments at LSE. He encouraged the students to balance hard work with relaxation and entertainment, to make their year at Fudan more enriching and enjoyable. Additionally, Professor Hildebrandt participated in the 3rd Fudan-LSE Annual Academic Conference hosted by IGPP.

Professor Timothy Hildebrandt serves as the Deputy Head of the Department of Social Policy at LSE, the Director of the LSE component of GSP program, a member of the Council at the Fudan-LSE Global Public Policy Hub, and a co-editor of the China Quarterly.
