On November 7, 2024, Associate Professor Dexanourath Seneduangdeth, Acting President of the National University of Laos, and Vice President Professor Phouphet Kyophilavong visited the Fudan Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP). Professor Yijia Jing, Dean of IGPP, warmly welcomed the delegation. The two sides reviewed their past collaborative achievements and reached an agreement to strengthen partnerships in areas such as student exchange, the International Master of Public Administration (IMPA) program, and academic exchanges.

President Seneduangdeth and Vice President Kyophilavong attended the 2nd "China-Arab Global Development and Governance Forum." During the Forum, they signed a cooperation agreement with President Li Jin of Fudan University for cooperation on Fudan’s new IMPA program.
