On November 4, 2024, Professor Karl Lofgren, Dean of the School of Government at Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), New Zealand, visited the Fudan Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP). Professor Yijia Jing, Dean of IGPP, met with Professor Lofgren. They reviewed their prior cooperation, including student exchanges and joint course offerings. They also discussed intentions to resume student and scholar exchanges, conduct joint research, and collaborate on teaching in the future.

During his visit, Professor Lofgren participated in the 3rd Fudan-LSE Annual Academic Conference and delivered a keynote speech. He also gave the 62nd lecture in the Fudan-LSE Lecture Series, titled "8 Myths about Digital Government."
