On December 12-13, 2024, Vice President Emma McCoy of LSE, and her delegation visited Fudan University. Vice President Yugang Ma of Fudan University, met with Professor McCoy. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including disciplinary development, talent cultivation, and research and teaching collaboration. Attendees also included Neil Mclean, Director of the LSE Language Centre, and Hua Xiang, Director of East Asian Languages, as well as Professor Yijia Jing, Dean of the Institute of Global Public Policy (IGPP), Associate Professor Guoping Xu, Associate Dean of the International Cultural Exchange School, and Ying Wang from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange。

The LSE delegation visited the LSE-Fudan Centre for Global Public Policy, where Professor Yijia Jing, Director of the Centre, warmly welcomed the guests and provided an update on the recent progress and plans. Attendees also included Dan Guttman, a visiting professor at IGPP, and Assistant Professor Xin Ye.

During the visit, Professor McCoy delivered the 65th lecture in the Fudan-LSE Lecture Series on the topic "Physical Activity through Sustainable Transport Approaches."
