On November 9, 2024, during the 2nd China-Arab Forum on Global Development and Governance, Professor Aziz Ajbilou from the School of Governance, Economics, and Social Sciences at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco, a leading institution in the Arab region for public policy under the "China-Arab Universities 10+10 Cooperation Plan," signed an academic exchange agreement with Professor Yijia Jing, Dean of the Fudan Institute for Global Public Policy (IGPP). The signing ceremony was witnessed by President Li Jin of Fudan, Secretary General Amr Salama of Association of Arab Universities, Vice President Chunhua Yan of the China Association for Higher Education, and Director Farraj Alajmi of the Department of Education and Scientific Research. Professor Ajbilou also represented the new member institution at the expansion ceremony of the China-Arab Network for Schools of Public Policy and Administration (CANSPPA), and participated in the CANSPPA annual conference and other events of the network.
On November 11, Professor Ajbilou visited the IGPP and held a work meeting with Professor Jing. Moving forward, Fudan University and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco will promote bilateral cooperation in research and talent development, while also striving to foster comprehensive exchange and interaction between Chinese and Arab universities in the field of public policy.
